Hallmark continues to bring some great Christmas romance movies to count our way down to the big day. This weekend is all about single people looking (not maybe not quite looking) for love, and Single on the 25th is a must-watch to end the weekend.
Lynsey Fonseca and Daniel Lissing team up for this latest Hallmark movie, which will make you question whether it’s worth setting the goal to be single on Christmas Day. Arguably, there’s nothing wrong with it, but how rigid do you need to be in that goal setting?
What is Single on the 25th about?
The latest movie follows Nell and Cooper, as they team up to prove that there’s a lot of fun in being single throughout the Christmas holiday. However, they need to work together, because up to this point, it’s been heartbreaking.
Initially, Nell is worried, because every time she’s single around Christmas, she ends up being depressed by all the happy couples doing their happy couples things. However, she wants to prove herself wrong, and that means finding a way to have fun all on her own.
Cooper is happily single, but he can see that Nell is struggling with this. As her neighbor, he decides it’s up to him to prove that it’s possible to be happy as single people, and he decides to help Nell face her fears. What he may not realize is that being “happily” single could be the part that’s holding him back. There’s nothing wrong with realizing that you want more.
What happens when Nell realizes that she is some sort of charity case for Cooper? What happens as Cooper realizes that he could lose the one person who has made him happy all this time? It’s time to allow real growth to happen.
When will Single on the 25th air?
The new Hallmark movie will air on Sunday, Dec. 7 at 8/7c. The only place to watch it live is on the Hallmark Channel, which is available with your cable provider.
