When is Three Little Birds coming to BritBox? (Three Little Birds release schedule)
There are some excellent period dramas. More and more are focusing on parts of history that have been forgotten about or overlooked. That’s something Three Little Birds is going to focus on.
The UK series follows Leah and Chantrell, two sisters from St. Anne, Jamaica who get on a boat to Great Britain. They are joined by Hosanna, a Bible-loving acquaintance of the sisters. They’re leaving behind their home for new shores. This is in the 1950s, too, so it’s not so easy to just head back or keep in touch.
Rochelle Neil stars as Leah and Saffron Coomber stars as Chantrelle. Yazmin Belo is Hosanna in her screen debut. This story is based on truth. Sir Lenny Henry wrote the six-part drama, and it is completely inspired by his mother’s stories of leaving Jamaica for Britain in the 1950s.
Three Little Birds release date and schedule

This is getting a strange release compared to a lot of other BritBox shows. It’s not a complete binge-watch, but it’s also not a standard weekly release. The next three episodes of the series will drop on Thursday, Feb. 8, 2024.
Yes, it’s released in two parts. You’ll be able to binge-watch the whole series on Feb. 8.
This does look to be a limited series. Of course, you never know with British productions. Things tend to be quietly renewed if there is more to tell in the story. With Sir Lenny Henry’s stories from his mother, there’s sure to be more should networks want it.
This is an important look at the 1950s when many Jamaicans made their way to the UK. You won’t want to miss out.
