We roughly know when It Ends with Us should come to DVD and Blu-ray
If you’re in the mood for a romance with a lot of drama, you’ll want to head to theaters to see It Ends with Us. The Blake Lively movie is based on the novel of the same name by Colleen Hoover.
It follows Lily, who opens her own flower store with the focus on getting a fresh start. However, it seems like the lives of women before her in her family is one that she will follow the footsteps of. Romance becomes toxic, and Lily needs to figure out if this is all life has to offer for her.
If you’ve read the novel, you’ll definitely want to check it out in theaters. If you haven’t already read the novel, I do recommend it. However, it could be worth going in not knowing anything.
It Ends with Us potential DVD release date
With the movie only just out in theaters, we don’t have an exact DVD release date just yet. We can look at the studio to figure out when we could expect it to head to DVD based on previous studio releases. This is a Sony Pictures movie, so we’ll look at Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire and The Garfield Movie to help guestimate this release.
It’s taking around three months for Sony movies to go from theaters to DVD right now. We’re expecting something similar with It Ends with Us. That suggests that we’ll see the movie head to DVD around Tuesday, Nov. 13.
What about a Digital release? That’s usually earlier than the DVD release, giving you a chance to see if it’s worth adding to your DVD collection. It’s taking about six weeks for other movies to head to Digital, so we’re looking at around Tuesday, Sept. 17 or Tuesday, Sept. 24 for this romantic drama starring Blake Lively.
