The summer is shaping up to be an exciting time of the year thanks to streaming services. Netflix is the latest streamer to add something to watch in July. It’s all about Vikings: Valhalla.

The third season of the Vikings spin-off series is going to be the final one. And the trailer certainly makes it feel like the final season. This is all about a fight to the end, as our favorite characters look for a place to call their new home as the world turns to the Catholic religion.

Vikings: Valhalla Season 3 premieres in July

All 10 episodes of the final season will arrive at once. Get ready for Thursday, July 11. It’s great to see that Netflix realizes that not everything has to be split in two parts. A show like Vikings: Valhalla makes for a great binge-watch.

You have time to catch up on the series if you did fall behind. The first two seasons are already available.

Don’t worry if you didn’t watch Vikings first. While there are mentions of characters who came before, this series is set 100 years after the events of the OG series, so a lot of the storylines are fresh and focused on the new characters we come to know.

What to expect in the final season of Vikings: Valhalla

The series sees our main protagonists separated by circumstance and war, still. They are in search for a new Viking home, and that takes them to lands far and wide. As one heads across Europe more, another is looking to sail West. Of course, England has already been found. This is a search for what else is out there, and if you know your Viking history, you know that they did eventually find the continent of North America, known as Turtle Island at the time.

The trio will not go down without a fight. That includes Freydis, who looks to see her life end at the stake. The Christians want to get rid of the Pagans, and the best way is through burning at the stake, it seems. Well, she’s not going to just give up the fight.
