The Time Traveler’s Wife follows Clare, who comes across Henry in the library. She knows him, but he has no idea who he is. That’s because while they’ve met, it’s not this version of Henry Clare has come to know. She knows his older versions. Henry is a time traveler, and he has no control over this ability. What does that mean for their budding relationship?

Only, she ends up falling in love with Jamie Fraser and decides to stay. It’s not easy for the two to build a life together with rebellions, a 20-year separation, and prison sentences.
