2. The Time Traveler’s Wife

You’ve read the novel and you’ve seen the movie. Now it’s time to see the TV series. Sadly, there is only one season and it did end on a cliffhanger. You’ll want the book to hand to continue the story. However, it is still a great series to watch.

The Time Traveler’s Wife follows Clare, who comes across Henry in the library. She knows him, but he has no idea who he is. That’s because while they’ve met, it’s not this version of Henry Clare has come to know. She knows his older versions. Henry is a time traveler, and he has no control over this ability. What does that mean for their budding relationship?

The Time Traveler’s Wife is available to to watch on Amazon Instant Video, Vudu, and wherever you buy shows on Digital.

1. Outlander

Of course, we’ve saved the best of the time travel dramas for last. It’s all about Outlander. Yes, this is a time travel drama considering it all starts with one woman going to the past, where she meets and falls in love with Jamie Fraser.

Claire Fraser lives in the 1940s, but she ends up in the 1740s, just years before the Battle of Culloden. At first, she wants to find her way back home. Only, she ends up falling in love with Jamie Fraser and decides to stay. It’s not easy for the two to build a life together with rebellions, a 20-year separation, and prison sentences.
