You will not want to miss The Kingdom 2024. It’s the last The Last Kingdom event from Sasnak City. Tickets went on sale last year, but there are still some left.

The guests have started to be announced. There are five confirmed so far for The Kingdom 2024, and there is still time for more to be added. These events tend to have between eight and nine actors from the series.

Of course, it’s important to note that the actors have a clause in their contracts that can mean they drop out of events. If production needs come up for shows, they can end up having to cancel the whole event or some of the event. It all depends on the filming schedules. The Last Kingdom may be over, but the actors will have other projects.

Who will be at The Kingdom 2024

There are five guests announced so far. They are:

Harry McEntire
James Northcote
Harry Gilby
Cavan Clerkin
Mark Rowley

Most have been to a Sasnak City event before. In fact, three on the list were at The Kingdom 2023. Mark Rowley was supposed to attend as well, but he did have to drop out due to scheduling conflicts with another series.

Don’t expect Sasnak City to bait and switch

One thing I love about Sasnak City is that there isn’t a bait and switch when it comes to announcements. Sure, actors have to drop out, but that’s beyond Sasnak City’s control. What is in the company’s control is announcing that this is the last event for the series.

This is a huge marketing tool. It brings out the FOMO for a lot of people. I speak from experience when I heard that the 2019 Supernatural convention in Toronto was the last for the city. Then Creation Ent changed things and opted for another Toronto convention. It felt like a slap in the face for those who had bought believing it to be the last one; almost as if it was just a ploy to get people to buy tickets.

I don’t expect something like that from Sasnak City. When they say it’s the last event, it’s the last event. So, make sure you get the tickets and attend if you want a chance to feel the magic of The Kingdom 2024.

This isn’t the end of Sasnak City, though. There is an Outlander convention in November, and there is no statement that it’s the end of that one. There is always a chance that there will be other shows that give Sasnak City some inspiration for a fan event.
