The Gathering 2024 guests: 3 confirmed for the Outlander event so far

It’s almost time for another Outlander convention. The Gathering 2024 takes place in November, and three guests are now confirmed.

While Sasnak City has confirmed The Kingdom 2024 is the last event for The Last Kingdom, that’s not the case for The Gathering 2024. It looks like there are more Outlander events to come, but it’s not clear how many. After all, the show is set to come to an end in the next few years. Although spin-off shows could help to keep that going.

For now, let’s enjoy what we are getting. The Gathering 2024 will take place between Nov. 14 and 17. This is a chance to get to know fellow Outlander fans, meet the cast, and experience Outlander in a way you never have before.

Who is coming to The Gathering 2024

So far, three Outlander cast members are confirmed. They are:

Lauren Lyle
John Bell
Joey Phillips

All three have been to a Sasnak City event before. In fact, Bell and Phillips were at The Gathering 2023, and they were excellent fun.

Keep in mind that the actors could end up having to cancel their appearances. This has happened in the past due to production conflicts. There is a chance that Outlander Season 8 will have finished filming by then, but that’s not guaranteed. So, it could mean cast members are called back.

If they’re not called back, they may have moved onto other projects. This could mean there are production needs elsewhere. The filming schedules will always come first.

How many guests will be at the Sasnak City Outlander convention?

There are still some announcements to come. Sasnak City events tend to have eight to nine guests. This will include the bonus and even surprise guests that have turned up now and then.

Don’t expect Sam Heughan or Caitriona Balfe. They are the most expensive cast members to get, and that leads to much higher costs for events. Heughan has been to Sasnak City events in the past, but they have been very small and expensive events. Balfe hasn’t been to one yet.
