5 steamy romance books to read for Valentine's Day 2024
Now try the New Camelot series by Sierra Simone
Another series that focuses on individual characters throughout the series is the New Camelot series. The first book, American Queen, starts with Greet Galloway, who has to serve the President of the United States. The President sends his best friend to woo Greer on his behalf, and Greer ends up falling for the two men.
As the books go on, we get the story from the friend’s POV, Embrey. Then we get the story from the President’s POV. There are elements of the Camelot series set within it, drawing in fans of Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table.
Finish off with The Selection series by Keira Cass
It’s time for something a lot lighter. This one is a series that follows set characters from start to finish. You get to see how relationships form and grow. There’s also an element of The Hunger Games and The Bachelor thrown into this story for those looking for something dystopian and fun.
The Selection is the first book in the series. It follows America Singer, who is one of the 35 girls chosen to compete for the love of Prince Maxen. America didn’t want to be selected. She loves someone back home. Her plan is to make it so she is eliminated.
However, then she meets Maxen. Suddenly, everything that she thought she knew about love changes. Over the first few books, we follow America and Maxen. Then the story jumps forward in time to the next Selection.
