There’s no doubt that you binged the final season of The Umbrella Academy as soon as you could. After all, you needed to see how it all came to an end.

And now you’ve done that. You’ve got to the final episodes of the series. While it was a great ride, you need more that’s just like it. There’s no more The Umbrella Academy, but there are some great shows out there that you can watch instead.

The Umbrella Academy brought us a mixture of comedy, violence, and time travel. Here are other shows that you’ll want to watch next.

Misfits

The first TV show to turn to is one from the past. Misfits is a British series that follows a group of strangers serving out community service. They end up hit by lightning, which causes them to gain abilities. Now they need to figure out what their abilities are, and whether they should use their abilities to help themselves or others.

This series includes Robert Sheehan. Yes, our own Klaus Hargreeves gets another role with superheroes. In fact, it’s linked to death just like his Umbrella Academy power.

Misfits is available to stream on Freevee, Pluto TV, and Peacock.

Locke and Key

If you want something that is suitable for the teenagers in the house—just like the first two seasons of The Umbrella Academy—then you’ll want to turn to Locke & Key. This is another series that is based on a book series, and it follows a group of siblings who learn about some magical abilities that run in the family.

However, these abilities are linked to keys that they find in the Locke house. Of course, there is someone after the keys to use for nefarious reasons. There is some time travel involved, there is a lot of action, and there’s a focus on siblings working together to get to the bottom of a dangerous situation.

Locke & Key is available to stream on Netflix.

The Boys

The last two seasons of The Umbrella Academy were made for adults, and that takes us to the next show on the list. It’s all about another superhero series that is made for adults. The Boys is a must-watch.

It’s another series that’s based on a graphic novel. However, this is more satire than other superhero shows, as it gives us a look at what superheroes would probably end up being like in the real world. They are celebrities rather than actual heroes, and there is an attempt to take them down and right the world.

The Boys is available to stream on Prime Video.

DC’s Legends of Tomorrow

There were some great shows in the Arrowverse on The CW back in its heyday. One of those was Legends of Tomorrow. This is a slightly more comedic story compared to the other Arrowverse shows, making it perfect for The Umbrella Academy fans out there.

The series follows a group of misfit heroes, who are mostly actually villains. They are given a chance to prove that they can be good, and that takes them through space and time to solve mysteries. Of course, there are villains going up against them, and there are times that sacrifices need to be made.

DC’s Legends of Tomorrow is available to stream on Netflix.

iZombie

How about a series that is focused on zombies instead of heroes? iZombie is a fun ride into the zombie genre, and it certainly shows off Rose McIver’s acting skills. We get to see her take on a completely different personality every single episode.

Liv is a regular girl who ends up bitten by a zombie during a boat party. As she realizes that she needs to eat brains to survive, she decides to start working in a morgue. Then she realizes that she gets the memories of the deceased, which is sure to help in solving murders. The problem is can she really tell people that she’s getting the memories of the victims by eating their brains?

iZombie is available to stream on Netflix.
