Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, and you’re likely in the mood to watch something involving love. The great news is there are plenty of romance shows out there.

Some of these romance shows are strictly all about finding love. Others involve a little time travel and real history. Then there are others that are focused on something else with steamy romance thrown in.

The Time Traveler’s Wife

Sadly, this HBO series only lasted one season. Yes, it’s based on the same book as the Rachel McAdams movie and follows the same storyline. However, the series offered a bit more of a look into Henry’s life as well as Claire’s.

The Time Traveler’s Wife starts with Claire meeting Henry. It’s Henry’s first time but not Claire’s, and he’s a little put off at first at the idea of who she is. Well, it isn’t too hard to understand what’s going on. Claire has known Henry since she was young, but it’s always older versions of the man. Henry is able to time travel, and he can’t control it.

The two start a love story that involves a lot of heartbreak but also a lot of fun moments. We get a glimpse of what the future will hold, as it’s clear that Henry won’t live past a certain age.
