Vikings: Valhalla and 3 more period dramas to watch in July 2024

As we continue to wait for more Outlander, we start to look for more period dramas to watch. Historical fiction is a great way to get through the drought, and there are some great releases throughout July 2024.

You’ll need to turn to a few different streaming platforms to watch everything new available. Whether you want to dive right back to the time of the Vikings, or you’re more interested with relatively recent historical periods, you’re covered in July.

Vikings: Valhalla Season 3

The third and final season of Vikings: Valhalla is coming to Netflix. It’s time to see how our three leads fare in their latest journeys. For Freydis, it looks like she could end up burned at the stake because of her faith. Will someone save her before the Christians go through it with? Meanwhile, Leif wants to sail west, which opens the possibilities of him finding what is now known as Canada.

All episodes of Vikings: Valhalla Season 3 will drop on Netflix on Thursday, July 11.

The Restaurant

All three seasons of The Restaurant will come to Acorn TV throughout the course of July. The first season drops on Monday, July 1, and takes us back to 1945. The Second World War has finally come to an end. There is hope for a brighter future in Stockholm, and two strangers kiss only to part ways immediately after.
