Foreshadowing in the Outlander chapter

I don’t see too much in the way of foreshadowing in this chapter. It’s more focused on the moment of Bree’s life. She’s worried about Roger, and she has a chance to see William. There’s a chance for the truth to come out, but emotions are still running high. I love that Bree gets angry, though. We get to see that William and Bree are so alike in many ways.

Adapting the Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone chapter

What about using this chapter in the TV series? I think it could be used. William has to find out that Jamie is his father, and we need to see how that all plays out.

What I really want to see is Bree and William having this conversation. We know that Bree thinks William should know the truth. She’s already had that conversation with Lord John Grey. I want to see her admit to William that she didn’t think it right that the secret was kept from him. Maybe there can even be a mention of how Bree didn’t know about Jamie at first, either, so they can bond over that.

Before the end of Outlander, I want to see Bree and William have a chance to bond. It’s so important to bring closure to the entire storyline, especially in terms of the show.
