Foreshadowing in the Outlander chapter

I don’t see too much in the way of foreshadowing in this chapter. There is the potential for William and Brianna’s bond to grow further, but nothing that really foreshadows the way that it will go. It’s clear that William wants to protect his sister and that he feels no ill-will toward her, despite her knowing the truth before him. This just tells us the type of man that William is.

Adapting the Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone chapter

This is one of those chapters that I would love to see adapted, but I’m not sure it will be. There may not be enough time to have it exactly the way it is, but I want to see these moments for Bree and William. They need to interact once William learns about who Jamie is to him.

We need to see Bree and William spend some time together when Bree is able to tell him the truth about who she is to him. It would also be great to see her use her art more, but that’s not been a huge focus in the series, so it makes me question whether it will come up in the show. We could have Bree and William connect without the commissioned artwork, though.
