Percy gets to William in Outlander Book 9, Chapter 152

It doesn’t take long for Percy to get to William. We see him share some of what he knows in Outlander Book 9, Chapter 152.

William is surprised to hear that someone who knows John is waiting for him at the house. William’s search for his father has gone without answers, but now he has a chance to get them.

I love that Percy describes Richardson as a madman. This is likely linked to how Richardson claims he is from the future. There is a mention of what Richardson wants to prevent Hal from doing, but of course, there’s no way that Percy would ever believe Richardson of time travel. Of course he would view Richardson as a madman.

William now knows where John is, but it’s likely too late. He needs to figure out another plan to get to his father.

This chapter is more about plot development. However, I think there is foreshadowing of a problem in one particular part; something that will come up in the 10th book.

As for the adaptation, I suspect that we’ll see some of this but maybe not all of it. It’s going to depend on whether Percy will be introduced or not and I’m still in two minds about this.

Let’s dive into the Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone chapter.
