Foreshadowing in the Outlander chapter

This chapter certainly seems to set up the plot and foreshadow how John can get out of this. It’s not about Hal, who John suspects has gone north to Ben. It’s William and Jamie.

We get this reminder of when Jamie held John captive. It was clear to us that Jamie wouldn’t harm John, but he didn’t know that at the time. Getting the message to William is a great way to get Jamie to save John.

Adapting the Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone chapter

This chapter will likely be adapted, but I don’t think that we’ll see all of it. I’m not sure that we’ll see all of Percy’s storyline. It’s just a lot for nothing in Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone. With so little time left available in the series, I doubt that we’ll see Percy hunting down Fergus for the Comte’s fortune.

That doesn’t mean he can’t show up when it comes to this part of the story, though. We could see him dragged in and a quick explanation as to who he is for this particular storyline. There could also be another way to get a message to William if John is able to appeal to the good nature of someone holding him captive.
