William finds Amaranthus in Outlander Book 9, Chapter 134

William makes it to Philadelphia in Outlander Book 9, Chapter 134. We get another story from her, but how much of it is true?

William makes it to Philadelphia, and that’s where he finds Amaranthus. For the first time, she was actually telling the full truth when she said she would head to her father. Now William needs to figure out what to do next.

This chapter sees William learn more about Ben, as well. The problem is that this is all from Amaranthus. Just how much can we trust her? It’s clear from the past that she hasn’t told the full truth. How much of this is true? Is it all a ploy to get William? It’s clear he is the one she wants right now.

This chapter certainly sets up the next part of the plot for William and Amaranthus. It’s clear that there is more to her story, and she is up to something serious. We’ll just need to wait to find out everything.

I do expect to see this chapter used in the TV series. I’ll get to my thoughts on that in the adaptation section.

Let’s dive into the Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone chapter.
