Just the Outlander chapter

The chapter starts with us finding out that Cinnamon’s father wrote to him. It turns out that it’s good news. Cinnamon’s father was moved by the portrait and he would like to meet his son in person. That means his son needs to head to London.

John also finds out that the name his mother gave him was Michel. It was after the Archangel Michael. Cinnamon doesn’t say anything about wanting to be called Michel after this. I wonder if he will wait until he meets hid dad to learn more first. After all, it’s a huge change for him, and for so long, he clung onto his name believing that he was the son of Lord John Grey.

William is there at the docks with Cinnamon to see him off. I do love the way this friendship blossomed, and it’s such a shame that it’s coming to the end. William has one question to mark his friend getting on the ship. Who will he talk to now?

And that’s the thing. Cinnamon has been a great person for William to share things with. Bree is back at the Ridge and Cinnamon will be heading off to London. Who does William have now?
