Brianna gets some exciting news in Outlander Book 9, Chapter 123

After everything that’s happened, the Ridge certainly needs some good news. That's what happens in Outlander Book 9, Chapter 123.

It’s time for the MacKenzies to get back into the swing of things at the house. The children delve right into making new friends, and I just love how easy it is for Jem and Mandy to adapt to everything around them. They’ve had to adapt so much both in the past and in their own present time.

This chapter also sees Claire check in on Brianna, who is skinnier than when she left. It turns out that there’s a surprise when Claire checks in on Bree’s heart, and it’s a happy surprise.

The chapter ends with Claire reading a letter from Hal and responding to it. What is Hal up to? This certainly sets up the plot for the next part of the story. There isn’t much left when it comes to Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone, so I get the sense that this is setting up a plot for the 10th book.

Will the chapter be used in the adaptation? I think some of it will be, but not all of it. I’ll get to my thoughts on that in the adaptation section of this post.

Let’s dive into Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone Chapter 123.
