Foreshadowing in the Outlander chapter

This chapter certainly seems to foreshadow Amaranthus’s lies all coming out. It’s clear that she has been playing some sort of game. There wasn’t really any fear in her being abandoned by the Greys. If that was really the case, she wouldn’t have wanted to be found by them in the first place.

Other than that, I don’t see all that much foreshadowing. This is about the truth finally coming out and this plotline moving forward.

Adapting the Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone chapter

It’s hard to say how much of this chapter could be used in Outlander Season 8. I do expect Amaranthus to be part of the story. She’s such a huge part of William’s storyline. Whether John will be involved in it all is another thing. There could be a way to manage it without John being in more than one or two episodes of the final season.

I’m not all that sure we’ll see Ben, but it is possible for William to find out that Ben is alive without seeing him. This would then open the door for this chapter to be used. We’ll likely at least see William learning the truth from Amarathus’s own mouth.
