Just the Outlander chapter

The chapter starts with Kenny Lindsay and others getting to Claire and the two men. They manage to get Bembridge out of the mud, and Claire is able to treat him. He should be okay. She also notes that Esterhazy has some broken ribs.

Kenny says that his wife will watch over the two men. Claire needs to get back to Jamie. There is some humor between them, but Claire is ready to go back home.

On her way, the Murrays turn up. Claire notices that there are other women there, and it turns out that Silvia Hardman and her children are with the Murrays. They couldn’t stay with the Mohawk people, and Ian knew that Jamie would make a space for them. Well, it turns out there are going to be some cabins going spare very soon.

Claire needs catching up on the Murray situation, which includes baby Oggy’s name. There is a lot of focus on Rachel’s facial expressions as there is talk of “only one wolf of importance” and how Emily was moved by the spirit to give Oggy his name Hunter. Rachel is happy about being able to name the puppy given to them. She named him Skénnen, which means peace.
