The Murrays return in Outlander Book 9, Chapter 115

Claire is safe in Outlander Book 9, Chapter 115. Not only are the Murrays back, but the men Jamie sent to get to Claire are there in time.

We initially start with the situation that Claire found herself in. She’s okay, and Kenny Lindsay shows up with others to help save her. Bembridge is helped out of the mud and Esterhazy is taken into custody. It’s time to sort that mess out.

As Claire heads back home, she sees the Murrays. It is a pleasant surprise, and it shows us just how much time has passed between seeing the Murrays last and now. It’s sometimes hard to keep track of that, but this gives us a clear indication considering the Murrays came from New York.

They are not alone. The Hardman women are also there. It’s clear that this is ready to set up some new plot development. The more Rebels the better at the Ridge right now.

This chapter doesn’t foreshadow all that much. I guess there is one small bit, and I’ll get to that in the foreshadowing section.

As for it being used in the TV series, it could be. I don’t think all of it will be, though. I’ll get to my thoughts on that in the adaptation section.

Let’s dive into the Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone chapter.
