Outlander Book Club: Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone Chapter 112 breakdown
Jamie needs to make a list of all Loyalists in Outlander Book 9, Chapter 112
Things aren’t over at the Ridge, as Outlander Book 9, Chapter 112 makes it clear. Is someone coming to arrest Jamie?
We know what the activity at the Ridge was all about. The Loyalists wanted to capture Jamie and take him to the British to face charges of treason. However, it didn’t work out. Instead, Cunningham was shot in the back.
Jamie was also seriously injured. Not so much to worry Claire, but enough so that he isn’t easily able to get himself upstairs to his bed. Fortunately, Claire gets some help to do that, but it comes with a worry that Jamie will be held at home to await his fate with the Loyalists.
That’s not the case at all. Lieutenant Esterhazy is at the Ridge to get the names of the other Loyalists from the night. This is important in case Jamie does die. All the Loyalists must go.
What does this mean? This chapter certainly includes some plot development. I’m not too certain about foreshadowing, though. I’ll get to my thoughts on that in the foreshadowing section.
If the Cunningham parts are used, I can see this chapter being used. I’ll get to my thoughts on that in the adaptation section.
Let’s dive into the Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone chapter.
