Outlander: Blood of My Blood filming restarts soon

Outlander: Blood of My Blood started filming earlier this year. However, filming was halted due to the stormy weather in Scotland.

The Herald reports that filming is going to start up again in Glasgow very soon. Will this push things back for the release? Probably not too much as these types of delays are usually considered in plans. After all, Scotland’s weather tends to be unpredictable. There is truth in the saying of getting all four seasons at once!

When will Outlander: Blood of My Blood start filming in Glasgow?

Glasgow City Council confirms that there will be various street closures from Feb. 25, 2024 until March 7, 2024. This is for filming of the Outlander prequel. All traffic will be stopped on these roads, except for emergency vehicles. Pedestrians will still be able to walk around, but there will be limitations during filming periods.

Some streets will be blocked for the whole time of filming, while others are only blocked for a short period of time. This may not be the only time for filming. However, shows do try to limit the effects on the area as much as possible, which is why shows like Outlander end up filming in blocks.

Balmoral St. from South St. southwards 115m: 3 p.m. Feb. 26 to 5 p.m. March 7
