Netflix finally sets the premiere date for The Umbrella Academy Season 4
One thing we’re not looking forward to is the end. The Umbrella Academy has been such a fun series that we just don’t want it to come to an end. Of course, all good things do have to end eventually.
The Umbrella Academy Season 4 has been written as the final season. This means closure. And really, that’s all we want as a fan when it comes to following a series.
It’s been almost two years since the third season came out. Of course, this series was hit with the writers and actors strike during the summer of 2023. It is also one of those shows that takes a long time to film and get through post-production. However, we’re sure the ending is going to be worth the wait.
When will The Umbrella Academy Season 4 come to Netflix?
We have to wait until the summer. The Umbrella Academy Season 4 will arrive on Netflix on Thursday, Aug. 8.
Even better news is that fans won’t have to wait for any of the episodes. Unlike shows like The Crown and The Witcher, Netflix is releasing all episodes of TUA Season 4 in one big binge-watch.
There is a little bit of bad news in this. There will only be six episodes to finish off the story. It makes sense then why it is going to be released at once. We know the premiere episode is titles “The Unbearable Tragedy of Getting What You Want.”
The third season finished with the seven members of The Umbrella Academy finding out that all their abilities were gone. They were also missing people they had been with just before walking out of the building they were in. What happened? Well, Reginald Hargreeves looked down with his wife(!) and it looks like he had planned this. Does he think he’s done a good thing in wiping their abilities? There are sure to be some ramifications for everyone and we may see more time traveling to set things right again.
The Umbrella Academy Season 4 will come to Netflix on Thursday, Aug. 8.
