Geneva Dunsany
There is a lot of hate for Geneva. This is a woman who I will offer a little bit of grace to, though. She is a woman of her time, caught up in her station. She has to marry a man old enough to be her grandfather for the sake of her family and money. So, is it really that surprising she wants to lose her virginity to a guy who looks as good as Jamie?
She definitely goes about it in completely the wrong way, though. Forcing Jamie to spend the night with her definitely makes her toxic. She probably wouldn’t be viewed as toxic with an 18th century viewpoint, though. We’re looking at her with 21st century viewpoints.
Jocasta Cameron
Oh yes, Jocasta Cameron deserves to be on this list. She certainly has her moments, even if she is a woman to love at the same time. She is a proud woman who isn’t afraid to ruffle feathers, and that sometimes makes her toxic.
This is a woman who isn’t all that impressed with Claire at first. That’s not surprising when Claire berates her for owning slaves in a time period when Jocasta sees nothing wrong with it. Eventually, Jocasta shows her good sides, and it’s hilarious watching her play Roger and Forbes. That just doesn’t take away from some of the red flags in her character.
