There are a few things that fans hope to see in Outlander Season 8. With the recent leaked photos of filming, one of those is all about Jamie’s hair.

There has been a love-hate relationship with the wig department over the years. In the first couple of seasons, Sam Heughan dyed his hair red and had it natural for filming. The hair dye ended up damaging his naturally blonde hair, so he ended up getting a wig for the rest of the series.

Of course, the first few seasons with the wig had fans commenting about how bad it was. It was only around the fifth and sixth seasons that things changed. Now Jamie’s hair has come up again with the recent leaked photos shared on Reddit.

Outlander Season 8 photos show Claire and Jamie

There are a couple of photos of Claire and Jamie in the leaked photos of Outlander Season 8. As the show has just announced its final table read, these images are going to be taken from either episodes 9 or 10. This means we have no idea what’s to come as the show has moved past the source material at this point.

However, fans have noted that it looks like Jamie’s hair is down in one of the images, and we all hope that this is true. In the books, Jamie’s hair is often described. We hear Claire’s thoughts as she plaits (braids) his hair on a regular basis to keep it out of the way. His hair has never been shown down, and fans would like it just once.

It is possible that his hair is down. In the two images on Reddit, it's hard to tell, but there are a few other leaked photos that show Jamie and Claire a lot more closely. And yes, Jamie's hair looks down!

It’s not easy to make out all the photos. They were taken at Elginton Country Park, and there is a building and a gazebo, which suggests that we’re looking at some sort of celebratory moment toward the end of the season.
