The Last of Us Season 2

What do you think of dystopian zombie shows? That’s what we get with The Last of Us. Based on the video game of the same name, we watch a man have to lead a teenage girl to a compound that could create a cure to the virus that has spread across the Earth.

The series didn’t just focus on the story from the video game, though. We got more backstory on the characters gamers don’t get to play, leading to some heartbreaking but beautiful moments. Now we certainly need more.

The great news is the series was quickly renewed. The bad news is that the strike action put the show on hold. It’s not coming just yet, but production has now started.

The Last of Us is streaming on Max.

Good Omens Season 3

It took a while to get a renewal, but Amazon gave it at the end of 2023. This is going to be the final season of the biblical story.

It follows an angel and a demon who work together to prevent the apolocaypse from happening. The second season continued the war between Heaven and Hell, with many looking for a way to bring about the apocalypse after it failed the first time. Unlike the first season, there was a huge cliffhanger at the end of the second season, and now we need the third.

While the show is one of the shorter ones, it is a big one to film. It also involves some highly sought-after actors, such as David Tennant and Michael Sheen, which makes production schedules just a little harder to manage. However, we’re sure to see the series in 2025.

Good Omens is streaming on Prime Video.
