The Bridgerton siblings in order of birth
There are eight siblings in Bridgerton. We’ve met each of them in the series, with only a handful of them becoming leads of their seasons.
The seasons don’t follow the love stories in age order. Neither do the books. After all, like the first season, the first book follows the story of Daphne Bridgerton, the fourth child and the eldest daughter in the family.
Eyes are on who will be the lead in Bridgerton Season 4. Right now, fans suspect either Francesca or Benedict. Which order do they fall in? Well, the names of the siblings give everything away.
Order of the siblings in birth order in Bridgerton
Here is the order of the siblings:
Anthony
Benedict
Colin
Daphne
Eloise
Francesca
Gregory
Hyacinth
As you can see, the siblings are in alphabetical order. I guess Viscountess Bridgerton wanted to keep it easy for her family to remember the order as she entered high society.
Order of the love stories in the Bridgerton books
The books don’t follow the siblings in age order. Instead, it’s based more on what would fit the times. Marrying girls off young was important to secure good connections, while the boys could take their time to find someone to marry.
This is the order of the books and who becomes the main focus:
Daphne
Anthony
Benedict
Colin
Eloise
Francesca
Hyacinth
Gregory
It is worth noting that the younger two siblings are very young in the TV series. By the time it comes to their stories, time has moved forward. It doesn’t feel as icky reading about them.
The TV series switches the storylines, though. We’ve not had Benedict’s story just yet, and it looks like Eloise’s could be skipped over for now as well. Francesca seems to be the likely lead for Bridgerton Season 4 based on the way things ended in Season 3. Of course, fans are looking forward to seeing Benedict’s storyline, though.
