When it comes to Outlander conventions, there are a couple of businesses that offer an experience unlike the big events such as NYCC and C2E2. The Land Con is one of them, but this convention has only been available in Europe.
That is until now! The Land Con has just announced that it will bring its first U.S. event in 2026, and tickets will be on sale before you know it. Like with previous events in Paris and Edinburgh, the guest list isn’t known at the time of tickets going on sale, which can make it a risk for some, but this is an event that tends to sell out fast.
Where will The Land Con be in 2026?
While there are still plans for the Paris event in April 2026 (where tickets are already sold out), the U.S. event won’t happen until the fall. The official date to put in your diary is Saturday, Oct. 3 and Sunday, Oct. 4, 2026.
Yes, this is a long way away right now, but I will tell you that the dates have a way of sneaking up on you. Plus, this event is sure to sell out fast, so you’ll need to get tickets.
Where is The Land Con U.S. 2026?
The new event is going to take place in Austin, Texas. While I’m sure there are many who will initially think of Houston or Dallas, Austin is the capital of the state, and it’s the home of the University of Texas flagship campus.
It’s the city known for its music, whether it’s rock, blues, or country, and yes, you can get some beautiful photos down by the river.
When are tickets available for The Land Con 2026?
So, eyes are now on when you can get the tickets, especially since they’re sure to sell out fast. Tickets will go on sale via the official Land Con website on Thursday, Nov. 20 starting at 1 p.m. ET.
The Paris event has two ticket tiers, and both are reasonably priced. This is likely the way the event for the U.S. will go as well, but that’s not clear just yet.
We’ll be sure to keep an eye on the event when there is more information available. It is still early days, and with no guests announced for the Paris event just yet, we’re not expecting guests to be announced for the U.S. one until sometime later in 2026.
