The first six seasons of Outlander are currently on Netflix. Sure, we can watch Outlander season 7 on STARZ, but fans want to know when it will arrive on Netflix in the United States.
There is some bad news. We won’t get Outlander season 7 on Netflix U.S. in March 2025. It’s nowhere on the list of new releases on the streamer, and to be honest, it’s a little too early for it to arrive. We have a date in mind for the first half of the season.
Outlander season 7A could arrive on Netflix U.S. in May
We’re not expecting the whole season to arrive at once. If other locations for Netflix are anything to judge, we’re looking at the season being split as it comes to Netflix. This is the way it was split coming to STARZ, so it makes the most sense.
With that in mind, we’re expecting Outlander season 7A to arrive on Netflix on May 1, 2025. There isn’t that much longer left to wait if this is the case. The problem is Netflix and STARZ have remained quiet about the release, so it’s hard to confirm.
We know previous seasons have arrived on Netflix U.S. two years after the finales aired on STARZ. Outlander season 7 was split in two, so we’re working with the midseason finale and then the finale date. So, that means we’re looking at May 1 as the Outlander season 7A finale aired on May 1, 2023.
We need to wait two years for the whole of Outlander season 7
If you’re wanting to watch the entire seventh season on Netflix, then you’ll need to wait a little bit longer. Again, we have to wait two years from the finale date, and the Outlander season 7 finale aired on Friday, Jan. 17 of this year. So, we’re looking at Jan. 17, 2027 as a release date.
The wait is simply business. STARZ needs to keep content on its platform as exclusive as possible. By putting a big show on Netflix, it’s going to lose subscribers.
