Can you believe that the Outlander Book Club is close to an end. Well, we’re getting closer to running out of the Outlander books and spin-off stories.
There are still some short stories to get through, though. Seven Stones to Stand or Fall has some of the short stories that we’ve not completed yet, so now that we’ve come to the end of the Lord John Grey books, it’s time to go back through then.
There are four short stories to work through, focusing on various characters within the Outlander universe. We’ll work through them in order that they are in A Seven Stones to Stand or Fall by Diana Gabaldon.
It’s all about The Space Between next
So, the next book that we’ll focus on is The Space Between. This is the short story that is set in Paris in the 1770s. It follows two distinct storylines.
The first is Michael Murray, who accompanies Joan McKimmie to Paris so that she can start her work training to bea nun. Michael is returning to his wine business in Paris.
We also cover Comte St. Germain’s story. Did you think he died in Dragonfly in Amber? So did many others, but it turns out that he survived. He learns more about the world and who he really is. Of course, Master Raymond makes a reappearance, which is sure to answer a few questions for fans.
When will we start The Space Between?
This is a short novella. It won’t take long to work through the book, but I want to give people time to catch up on everything else. With that in mind, we’ll start the story next Monday, Feb. 17.
Like previous short stories, I’ll break this down in sections where there is a clear break in the storytelling.
A Space Between is a short story in Seven Stones to Stand or Fall by Diana Gabaldon.
