All the clans will gather together with the Earl of Mar in Outlander: Blood of My Blood season 1, episode 9. The images tell us that this is sure to be an exciting event.
Titled “Braemar,” this episode is set to bring more of the Jacobite cause up. This has been a huge story point for Clan MacKenzie, as Dougal has made it clear that he wants a Stuart king on the throne. Colum isn’t quite on that side, especially when it comes to financial elements of the fight.
Meanwhile, almost everyone is there. The only one we haven’t spotted is Jocasta Cameron, who hasn’t been seen since Murtagh turned down her advances. Everyone else of importance in there, and that means Henry and Julia have a chance to be together.

At the end of Outlander: Blood of My Blood season 1, episode 8, Henry learned that Julia hadn’t died after all. He’s been lied to, and that’s sure to come up in the new episode. However, when it comes to Julia, he just wants to be with her.

There is an image that shows they do get a moment together. As we’ve mentioned at ClaireandJamie.com, Julia still remains somewhat of a prisoner of Simon Fraser, especially has his wife, and that’s sure to come up during the episode. Brian is there, though, and he’ll hopefully be able to help find a way for Julia and Henry to be together.
Murtagh is also around, and he’s spending time with Simon Fraser. That’s not surprising as Simon has told Murtagh to find out which side of the Jacobite rebellion to side on. It’s sure to come up, along with Murtagh’s hatred for Brian right now, during the episode.
Clan MacKenzie gather together
We do have a few images of Clan MacKenzie together, both at Castle Leoch and at Braemar Castle. Of course Colum and Dougal will be at Braemar together, as they are both the heads of the clan. Ellen is also going to be there considering Malcolm is. The two need to be seen together as much as possible.
However, secrets are sure to come out. We get a few glimpses of Ellen and Brian together, but considering threats to the clan and to Ellen, is this wise?
Clan Grant has a new member in Blood of My Blood
Meanwhile, we have a new member of Clan Grant, Malcolm’s uncle. He isn’t afraid to make threats to Ellen, as ClaireandJamie.com previous shared with the promo and synopsis. We get to see him in a few images of the episode, making it clear that he is throwing his weight around.
Arch Bug is also at the event, but what do the rest of Clan Grant think of him? He was loyal to Isaac, but can anyone else trust him?
Oh, and yes, Seema is there, but will she cause trouble for Henry? Is there anything between her and Henry after he learned she turned him in?
Outlander: Blood of My Blood season 1, episode 9 looks to be an exciting episode. The question is whether our couples end the episode running off together.
