As Ivy’s career grows, we just knew that it would mean trouble for her marriage. Take a look at everything to come in Miss Scarlet season 5, episode 4.

The synopsis for the new episode is taking a break from the crime of the week. Alexander Blake and Eliza Scarlet don’t seem to have a lot to keep them occupied. However, they’re sure to find themselves occupied with a certain Patrick Nash.

Meanwhile, we’ll get more focus on Ivy. Her job is growing, but what does that mean for her personally?

Does Ivy even want to get married in Miss Scarlet season 5, episode 4?

During the previous episode, Mr. Potts was ready to talk about a wedding date. Ivy was not. She wanted to focus on her career, and while she was starting to burn out, she was also proud of what she had accomplished. I love her break in her career for her. Ivy has always been an 1800s woman, but she is realizing that things aren’t quite what they used to be.

Seeing Eliza grow in her business and career has made Ivy rethink a few things. Now she’s the personal secretary to Alexander Blake, which means more exciting challenges for her. However, what does it mean for her relationship with Mr. Potts? There’s only so long that he’ll be willing to wait for her. It doesn’t even seem like she wants to marry him at this point.

Patrick Nash is out but maybe not for long

Meanwhile, Patrick Nash is out of prison early. This should be exciting for Eliza. She turned to him during the premiere episode when it came to dealing with the Alexander Blake situation, and there was a hint that the two could end up becoming friends of sorts.

Well, that could be complicated with whatever Patrick has to do next. He has been given an impossible task, and if he fails, he goes back to jail. Who exactly has given him this task? It’s not all that clear.

Take a look at the synopsis for Miss Scarlet season 5, episode 4:

"Patrick Nash finds himself unexpectedly enjoying an early release from prison, but he must complete an impossible task or get thrown back in jail; Ivy's career is gaining strength, but it may put her marriage plans in jeopardy."

Miss Scarlet airs on Sundays at 8/7c on PBS.
