Are you ready for a new TV series to check out? Outlander fans will want to check out The Couple Next Door, which stars Sam Heughan as Danny and Eleanor Tomlinson as Evie.
The series premieres on STARZ straight after the Outlander season 7 finale. The good news for those who watch via the app is that the series will drop at midnight ET on Friday, Jan. 17. That means it’s going to be available to stream on Thursday night if you’re on central, mountain, or pacific time zones.
Now you need to make sure you have plenty of time to watch it uninterrupted. To do that, you need to know how long the episode is going to be. Of course, you’ll also want to know how long it’s available on STARZ.
The Couple Next Door series premiere length
The first episode of the series will air at 9:05 p.m. ET/PT on the channel. It’s scheduled to finish at 10 p.m. ET/PT. There will then be another showing at 11:05 p.m. ET/PT, ending at midnight ET/PT. This gives us an idea of the length of the episode.
We’re looking at the episode being around 50 minutes long. This makes sense when you consider the series aired on Channel 4 in the UK, which airs commercials. It would take an hour on the channel, so there would be 10 minutes of commercials.
The extra five minutes on the STARZ channel is needed for promotional material on the network. STARZ doesn’t need to air commercials since that’s not how it makes money.
How long will The Couple Next Door be available?
Will you have time to watch Outlander and then The Couple Next Door? Will you be able to wait until the entire season is available to binge-watch? Of course, to both of those questions.
The series is going to be on STARZ for some time. I won’t say forever because we have seen the premium cable network remove content in the past. However, the positive for The Couple Next Door is that it has a second season confirmed in the UK. We’re sure to see STARZ pick it up. After all, the channel has the Sam Heughan effect for this series. So, I don’t see this series being removed from the app any time soon.
