Bridgerton and Netflix have been hitting fans left and right with special announcements to keep the momentum going for the season 4 premiere. With so many shows trying to grab our attention, I can see why the marketing is so heavy. Sometimes fans lose interest after a few seasons of a show, which is exactly what Bridgerton is working to prevent.

So far, the plan is working! Not only do we have a two-volume release to spread out the anticipation, but now we also have an invitation to a live stream event where we can watch the first episode ahead of the actual season premiere. Hip hip, hooray!

If you were planning to have a watch party, you’re going to need to move up the date if you and your ‘ton want to be a part of the exclusive live stream. Here are some steps to take now.

1. RSVP to access the event

Tudum has a web page and RSVP link dedicated to the live stream event. Of course, you’ll need a Netflix account, but that’s all you need to reserve a free spot!

Type your name and email account in the link provided, and voila! You also get to submit a question for the cast, which is a fun way to make this event even more interactive. The website doesn’t mention a cap on how many viewers can RSVP, but you must reserve your spot by 9:30 p.m. ET on Tuesday, Jan. 13.

2. Save the date

Mark your calendars for Wednesday, Jan. 14 at 12:30 p.m. ET. The site says you’ll want to arrive early to ensure a good connection, so give yourself an extra hour or so.

Now to address the elephant in the room—the live stream is in the middle of the day on a weekday! This is a downside for fans with 9-5 work schedules, so take this into consideration in case you need to make prior arrangements.

A little bit of related good news: the episode 1 premiere is not the first event on the schedule, so East-coasters may be able to catch the biggest part of the night if you’re able to get off work a little early. The schedule doesn’t include time stamps, but I’d guess each event could be anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour.

3. Do some basic troubleshooting

If you want to be sure you’re seeing this event with the best quality, and without annoying glitches, gaps in audio, or other technical issues, Tudum provides a few basic tips. First, make sure you have a strong internet connection. Consider disconnecting devices from Wi-fi that you won’t be using to access the live stream.

Second, if you’re using a mobile device, make sure you close out of other tabs and apps that could slow the connection down. Third, make sure your audio isn’t muted once you’re on the livestream. Select 720 or 1080 pixels in the video settings. Finally, make sure your ad blockers are off! They may prevent seamless streaming.

What’s included in the event

So far, Netflix has four special events planned in the live stream that fans will be super excited to see. The preshow festivities will loop us in on what’s happening in Paris, at the red carpet. Tudum says fans can win giveaways, play games, and participate in a live chat!

For the second event, attendees will have a first glance at red carpet interviews, featuring the members of the Bridgerton family. They may be answering the questions you submit for your RSVP, so that should be quite interactive as well.

The third event is a “special performance”. The artist is not being revealed at the moment, but Tudum says, “it’ll be the talk of the ton”. Are we thinking someone like Taylor Swift or Tori Kelly, who has done a song for the show before? Guess we’ll have to wait and see!

The final event in the live stream is the live screening of the first episode. Everyone watching will be able to see this episode before anyone else, but be sure not to give away spoilers! If you want to be a part of this special Bridgerton exclusive event, head over to Tudum now!
