The time has come for another Droughtlander to end. Outlander season 7B begins, and you’ll want to make sure you carve out the right amount of time for episodes.
We would love a full day of Claire and Jamie, but that sadly can’t happen. Well, we could rewatch old episodes, but it wouldn’t be new content. The good news is we get a good amount of new content in the new episode starting at midnight ET on STARZ.
You won’t want to be interrupted while you’re watching. It’s important to tell people just how long you’re out—and you’ll want to make sure you have enough time to watch the episode in the first place. Here’s everything you need to know about the Outlander season 7, episode 9 length.
Outlander season 7B premiere episode length
Outlander season 7, episode 9 runs for 60 minutes. We can see that it starts at 8 p.m. on the STARZ channel and will end at 9 p.m. Now this can sometimes include the promos for other shows, so it might be a couple of minutes shorter than this.
There is another airing of the episode at 9:30 p.m. on STARZ. This one runs until 10:32 p.m., so it would suggest that the episode is 60 minutes and the extra two minutes later will be for promotions, and we’re looking forward to seeing the promo for Outlander season 7, episode 10!
If you miss both of those showings, there’s another one at 11:05 p.m. on STARZ! Of course, you can watch it from midnight ET on the STARZ app before the linear showings.
What to expect in Outlander season 7, episode 9
Titled “Unfinished Business,” we’ll get to see Claire, Jamie, and Young Ian head back to Lallybroch. This is a chance for reunions, and not all of them are reunions we really want. Jamie will go to see Laoghaire, and we know from a sneak peek of the episode that this is because of some unfinished business between the two of them.
The last we saw of Laoghaire, she shot Jamie in the shoulder after learning that Claire was still alive after all. Their marriage had to be annulled since it wasn’t valid, and there had to be a workaround for Jamie’s bigamy and Laoghaire’s attempted murder. This led to Jamie needing the gems from the island, which led to Young Ian being kidnapped. And the rest is history.
So, Jamie and Laoghaire have some things to organize. Hopefully, it’s to put anything between them to bed for good. After all, Jamie needs to be able to go back to America without that hanging over him.
Check out the promo and synopsis for Outlander season 7, episode 9 to get ready for the episode:
"Jamie, Claire, and Ian return to Lallybroch; Ian reconnects with his family in a time of need, while Claire deals with the fallout from a long-held secret; Roger and Buck search for Jemmy in the past."
Outlander airs on Fridays on STARZ. Check it out on the app at midnight ET and then on the channel at 8 p.m. ET.
