Friday brings us a new episode of Outlander. It’s time for a wedding, but not one that we want to see. Now you need to make sure you’re ready for Outlander season 7, episode 11.
With episodes dropping at midnight ET on the app, you need to make sure you have time to watch it. Do you stay up until midnight, or do you wait until later on in the day? This will be different for everyone based on their sleep needs, working lives, and more.
What you do need to make sure is that you have enough undisturbed time to watch the full episode in one sitting. It helps when you know how long an episode is going to be.
Outlander season 7, episode 11 length
Like previous episodes, we’re looking at an hour long. It’s likely to be between 58 and 60 minutes, especially based on the initial timeslot that it has on the STARZ linear channel.
According to the schedule on STARZ, Outlander season 7, episode 11 will air from 8 p.m. to 9:02 p.m. ET. This will include some of the promos that the network shows for other content on the app, which takes up two to five minutes of time either side of the showing of an episode. That’s how we get to between 58 and 60 minutes.
As soon as the episode drops at midnight, it will be available to watch when you’re ready. It’s going to stay on the app for the foreseeable. I’d like to say forever, but we have seen STARZ remove original content in the past.
What to expect in Outlander season 7, episode 11
This episode picks up off the back of the devastating ending to the previous one. Lord John Grey and Claire need to marry. It’s the only way that John can protect Claire from being arrested as a spy. In turn, that will protect the likes of the Hunters, Young Ian, and Mercy.
Of course, Claire doesn’t want to marry John. She doesn’t even want to be alive right now. She’s struggling with the loss of Jamie, and saving her own life is the last thing on her mind. She doesn’t have a choice if she wants to protect the other people she cares about. So, this episode is sure to include this wedding that is going to be so very different from that romantic and funny one in season 1.
We’ll also get some time with Young Ian and Rachel. As Young Ian grieves the loss of his uncle as well as his father, he and Rachel will need to discuss what comes next. They love each other, and they know how they want to make their relationship work. Now they need to make it official. Does that mean a wedding that we do want is just around the corner? Let’s hope!
Check out the promo and synopsis for Outlander season 7, episode 11 as we get ready for the new episode:
"Claire turns to John Grey for comfort as they process difficult news; Ian and Rachel discuss their love and their future; Brianna confronts an intruder at Lallybroch."
Outlander airs on Fridays on STARZ.
