Outlander has just returned, and Claire and Jamie are separated by an ocean already! You’ll want to make sure you have enough interrupted time to watch the next part of the story. How much time do you need for Outlander season 7, episode 10.

Droughtlander is over, and episode 9 brought us cast returns and reveals we were waiting for. Claire, Jamie, and Young Ian made it to Lallybroch, but it wasn’t full of happy reunions. Learning about Ian’s illness was hard, and it’s led to Claire and Jamie being separated by an ocean.

Claire needs to head back to America to save the life of Lord John Grey’s nephew. Meanwhile, Jamie needs to remain at Lallybroch to be with Ian in his final months. The upcoming episode is not going to be an easy one to watch, especially based on the promo!

Outlander season 7, episode 10 length

With the show dropping on the STARZ app before the channel, you’ll likely want to watch the episode during the day. Of course, Fridays are a work day for many, so you need to find time to watch it. Do you have time on your lunch break, or will you need to wait until you get home? It all depends on the episode length.

Outlander season 7, episode 10 gets a 62-minute slot when it first airs on the STARZ channel at 8 p.m. ET. It will then air again an hour later, but it only gets a 61-minute slot. Considering STARZ will run some ads for upcoming shows and movies it has available, it’s likely that the episode is between 58 and 60 minutes, similar to episode 9.

We would love for more time. It’s just difficult because of filming costs and the time needed to film longer episodes. We can always hope that there’s a later episode that is much longer.

What to expect in Outlander season 7, episode 10

We’re going to get time in America and Scotland. The promo shows us that we’ll have time with Claire and Lord John Grey, Jamie and Ian, and Roger and Buck. We’re not seeing anything about Bree, who is currently alone with Mandy in 1980, but there is hope that we’ll see how she is coping and what her next steps are knowing that Roger won’t come back until he has Jemmy.

William does show up in the promo, and he’s shooting someone. With Young Ian and William both in Philadelphia and tensions brewing between rebels and loyalists, what could that scene involve? William and Young Ian are on the opposite side of the war and interested in the same woman. Could William take action against the man he doesn’t realize is his cousin?

Outlander airs Fridays on STARZ.
