It’s time for another episode of Outlander: Blood of My Blood. Well, almost. The episode drops on Friday, Sept. 19, and now you’ll want to make sure you have the time to watch it.
This is a big one for fans of all four main characters. Not only will Brian race to save Ellen from the test of her virtue, but it looks like Henry and Julia could finally reunite! There’s plenty to look forward to, and that will mean that you won’t want to be disturbed.
You’ll also need to make sure it’s still on STARZ when you do come to watch it. So, we have all the information you need about Outlander: Blood of My Blood season 1, episode 8.

The episode itself is just more than 55 minutes long, so you’ll want to have just short of an hour available to be able to get through it all. As we’ve mentioned on ClaireandJamie.com before, this does include both the opening and closing credits, so the episode itself is probably more around the 50-minute mark.
There’s a lot to pack into the episode. This is the shortest episode of the season so far!
If you see on the STARZ schedule that it looks longer, that’s because the times include a couple of trailers to highlight other shows and movies on STARZ. After all, there’s no paid advertising on the premium cable channel as your subscription pays for the shows.
Don’t worry about Outlander: Blood of My Blood leaving STARZ
I know there are some concerns that Outlander: Blood of My Blood season 1, episode 8 and previous episodes will be removed from the app before you have a chance to watch it. After all, Hightown and a couple of other STARZ originals were.
Don’t worry too much about this, though. We don’t see it happening; at least, not for any time soon.
There are still two more episodes to air after this. On top of that, Outlander: Blood of My Blood season 2 is confirmed and in production right now. With more content on the way, STARZ isn’t going to get rid of the previous episodes.
Along with all this, it’s part of the bigger Outlander universe, which, as a whole, performs extremely well for STARZ. We can’t see any of the universe shows disappearing any time soon. Sure, there’s only the flagship show for now, but as this is going well, it wouldn’t be surprising if STARZ added more to it!
