The Outlander prequel has started with a bang. We’ve got to know Ellen, Brian, Julia, and Henry briefly, and we’ve seen how they’ve all ended up in the same time period. Now the fight is on to find a way for the two couples to be together. These are love stories that transcend time and space.

The new episode will come in at just short of an hour. This includes the opening and closing credits, which are worth watching. The great thing about the closing credits is that they offer a look at every single name involved in this production.
On the STARZ listings, you may see that the time is a little over an hour. This is because it includes some of the trailers aired in between programming.
If you’re going to watch on the STARZ Channel at 8 p.m. ET on Friday, then you’ll want to give yourself a lot more time. The first two episodes will also air during the afternoon, starting at 5:42 p.m. ET. You’ll be able to binge-watch all the episodes, giving you almost three-and-a-half-hours of Outlander prequel.

So, what about the app? There is some great news, as you don’t need to watch as soon as it drops on the app. Blood of My Blood season 1, episode 3 will be available from midnight ET and then for the foreseeable.
We don’t like to say that it will never leave the STARZ App. After all, the company has removed underperforming content from its app in the past, but we don’t see that happening with this series for a couple of reasons.
To start, the Outlander universe is huge and it’s one of the driving forces for the premium cable channel. Until there’s a sign that this is slowing down, we won’t need to worry about the content underperforming.
On top of that, Blood of My Blood still has seven episodes to air after this and there is going to be a second season. There’s no need to remove it from the app while the show is still in production. So, if you can’t getto the episode right away, don’t worry too much about it!
