The Miss Scarlet season 6 premiere told us everything we needed to know about Eliza and Blake. They are officially together, although they’re together in secret.
After initially seeing Eliza drug some men and “steal” an artifact, we learned that she was returning it to the British Museum. Blake wasn’t happy with her actions, but the conversation soon moved onto their relationship, and they are still together.
Eliza is stressing too much on Miss Scarlet season 6
The problem for them is Eliza’s nervousness. She is trying too hard to keep the relationship a secret on Miss Scarlet season 6, and this could put pressure on the two of them. Neither are ready for it to come out to others, but Eliza is stressing about it more than Blake. Maybe it’s the fact that Blake has had to keep parts of his life compartmentalized in the past, while Eliza hasn’t, so he has more experience in it.
However, they run the risk of ruining everything. Eliza could end up focusing so much on keeping it a secret that Blake can’t keep going with it. He is understanding right now, but there’s only so much that he’ll be able to deal with.
It also doesn’t help that Eliza isn’t taking work from Scotland Yard. This immediately suggests that there is a problem, considering she’s always worked hard on being the best private detective for Scotland Yard.
Can Ivy keep the secret on Miss Scarlet?
In the end, Eliza did finally open up to someone about the relationship. She had to tell Ivy about it — although Ivy had already figured it out after listening at the doorway. This gives Eliza someone to confide in when it comes to struggles with balancing the secrecy of the relationship and continuing to build the business.
However, can Ivy keep the secret? Out of all the people in Eliza’s life, Ivy is the one who has been able to keep secrets before. She wants to look out for Eliza, making her the right person for Eliza to confide in. However, there is always a risk that Ivy will slip up, especially if it comes to her trying to get Barnabus’s attention. She could also say the wrong thing at work when handling documents, especially if people view Blake giving Ivy special treatment.
For now, I don’t think there’s too much to worry about. Eliza has been in a similar position before when it came to William, so I don’t know why she’s stressing so much. Of course, it makes for a fun storyline on Miss Scarlet season 6.
