Foreshadowing in the Outlander chapter

This chapter certainly foreshadows the dangers of the Siege of Savannah. There is a lot of tension felt in Marion, as Roger as see it in the way Marion is trembling. I think this chapter makes it clear that lives will be lost.

There’s also a sense of danger for Jamie. He can’t rely on the Continental Army to help him, and he could end up in grave danger in the future. That’s not really foreshadowing, though. It’s more of a plot point.

Adapting the Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone chapter

I would like to see the Siege of Savannah happen on the series, and that means bringing some of the buildup to it. I suspect that we’ll get the Battle of Monmouth at some point in either Outlander Season 7B or early Outlander Season 8. This would allow for Jamie to resign and then the animosity felt from others in the Army afterward.

I think it’s important to see Roger’s actions in the camp. We need to see how he holds himself and what he does when it comes to a battle. After all, the Army does have chaplains. Roger could end up being needed in other ways, but he also needs to protect himself.
