Outlander Book Club: Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone Chapter 83 breakdown
The Murrays meet with the Mohawk leader in Outlander Book 9, Chapter 83
The Murrays make it to Canajoharie in Outlander Book 9, Chapter 83. We’re getting closer and closer to Rachel and Emily meeting each other.
This chapter seems to have a little bit of a continuity error in it. Or maybe it’s just a conscious decision of the Murrays. Whatever it is, I’m a little put off that when the Mohawk leader, Brant, asks about Denny, nobody tells him that Denny has been captured.
I do love that we get to see Jenny’s mama bear side, though. Up to this point, the focus has been on Rachel’s feelings toward Emily. Now we get to hear what Jenny thinks of this woman who walked away from her son.
The chapter doesn’t really foreshadow all that much, though. I get a sense that it’s more of just pushing this part of the story along. I’ll get to that in the foreshadowing section of this post.
I would love to see the chapter used in the adaptation. I want to see all of it, including the part at the end that heavily involves Jenny.
Let’s dive into Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone Chapter 83.
