Young Ian kills a judge in Outlander Book 9, Chapter 77
Young Ian makes it to the Hardmans in Outlander Book 9, Chapter 77. However, it ends with the family of women not being able to stay in their home.
I love how we see Young Ian grow as a person. He tries not to be a violent man, but he still is at times. That’s not surprising with who his uncle is and the way he was raised with the Mohawk. There are times that he acts first and asks questions later.
This is one of those times. He goes straight into protective mode, but it leads to him killing a judge. The Hardmans can’t stay in their home, and it’s up to Young Ian to protect them now.
This chapter does seem to foreshadow some things for Emily. I’ll get to my thoughts on that in the foreshadowing section.
I doubt that we’ll see the chapter used in full in the TV series, though. We may see something small of Young Ian still having a violent streak, but I think this part could be skipped over, even if we do have the Murrays heading north to help Emily.
Let’s dive into Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone Chapter 77.
