Foreshadowing in the Outlander chapter
This chapter is more about pushing the storyline forward for the MacKenzies and the Frasers. It’s about getting them to Savannah and continuing the journey to get guns for the Revolutionary War. We also get a reminder of the dangers of being a printer.
I don’t see foreshadowing in the section. There doesn’t need to be when we already know of what’s just around the corner for the people of America.
Adapting the Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone chapter
The chapter isn’t likely to be used in the TV series. At least, not in the way that it’s written. I think if this chapter was going to be used, it might be combined with the print shop fire when Henri-Christian died. We won’t get to see Marsali and Fergus in Outlander Season 7B, so it takes out that Philadelphia storyline.
I just don’t see this part of the story being used as there are only 10 episodes in Outlander Season 8. Those 10 episodes will need to wrap up Book 9 and then wrap up the whole storyline. There isn’t time for a lot of filler.
