Foreshadowing in the Outlander chapter

This chapter is all about giving us a quiet moment between the MacKenzies. They spent a whole book (almost) apart, and now they’re back together. Yet, we haven’t really seen much of the two of them together. This moment reminds us of how far they have come as a couple. It wasn’t that long ago that that sort of conversation could have ended in an argument.

So, it doesn’t foreshadow anything. It’s very much in the moment.

Adapting the Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone chapter

I would love to see this chapter being used. I’m just not sure it will be. I don’t know how the show is going to handle whether Roger was ordained or not, and I don’t see everything in Charles Town playing out the way it does. This means bringing Marsali and Fergus back into it.

This doesn’t mean the show can’t show us the two of them together and in a good place. It’s important to show that considering Roger’s storyline in the past is sure to play out with the way the Outlander Season 7A finale ended.
