Outlander Book Club: Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone Chapter 72 breakdown
Fergus shares what he knows of the secret in Outlander Book 9, Chapter 72
Roger starts the chapter with some good news. However, Outlander Book 9, Chapter 72 finally answers a question we have all wondered about Fergus.
For a long time, there have been questions about who knows about time travel. Diana Gabaldon kept telling us that Fergus knew. The problem is that some important conversations happen off-page. This chapter finally delivers us answers on the page, with a conversation that is necessary.
Roger and Brianna didn’t want to share too much of the information from the future. However, it’s at a point now where Roger needs to tell Fergus what’s to come to make sure Fergus can protect himself and his family. This opens the conversation about how much Fergus knows about the big family secret.
This chapter certainly helps to clarify a few things. It doesn’t foreshadow too much, though. I’ll get to my thoughts on that in the foreshadowing section.
Now, I would love to see this chapter used in the TV series. I just don’t think that it will happen, and I’ll get to my thoughts on that in the adaptation part of this post.
Let’s dive into Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone Chapter 72.
