Outlander Book Club: Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone Chapter 69 breakdown
Bree and Marsali talk about Roger in Outlander Book 9, Chapter 69
We head back to the print shop in Outlander Book 9, Chapter 69. It’s all about Roger.
The chapter starts with some shop talk, but that’s not the way it ends. It’s all about Roger and him being ordained. This is something Bree has thought a lot about.
It turns out that Bree has some concerns of her own. It’s not that she doesn’t think Roger is doing the right thing or making the right choice for him, but it’s all about her own fears and insecurities. This is something that she needs to come to terms with by herself. I just love that we see more of Bree’s thoughts. There is something a little more in depth about her character in than we’ve seen before.
The chapter doesn’t foreshadow too much that I can see. Unless we find out that something will happen to Fergus and Marsali in the 10th book, and I will get to my thoughts on that.
As for the adaptation, I doubt we’ll see this chapter used. I’ll get to my thoughts on that in the adaptation section of this post.
Let’s dive into Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone Chapter 69.
