Foreshadowing in the Outlander chapter

This chapter is very much in the moment. It’s catching us up on the things that have happened and the life at the Ridge. We need these chapters to remember that it’s not all about drama and there are some slower moments.

However, there is an feeling of darkness coming. Claire focuses on the winter, and I do feel like there’s a connection to the Revolutionary War just around the corner. Claire needs her family back home.

Adapting the Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone chapter

I doubt this chapter will be used in Outlander Season 8 and not just because there isn’t enough time. We’ve not seen Bobby Higgins introduced yet. It’s unlikely that he will be introduced in Season 7B, and I don’t really think we’ll get the Amy storyline in Season 8. Without all that, there’s really no need for the discussion of marrying a murderer.
