Claire talks to the bees in Outlander Book 9, Chapter 66

Claire has taken JQM’s words to heart about the bees. We see her catching up the bees on everything in Outlander Book 9, Chapter 66.

This is a quiet and short chapter. It’s focused on catching us up on events going on at the Ridge, and to do that, we see that Claire is catching the bees up. The bees have become such an important part of the story.

Something that I love in this is seeing the different opinions of people at the Ridge. It’s all about Bobby Higgins, who has proven himself to be a good man. Yet, there are a lot of people on the Ridge who still view him as a murderer. Is being a good man enough?

This chapter doesn’t really foreshadow all that much. It’s mostly about catching us up on things, although there is a sense of dread. I’ll get to my thoughts on that in the foreshadowing section.

What about this chapter being used in the TV series? I doubt it, and I’ll get to my thoughts on that in the adaptation section.

Let’s dive into Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone Chapter 66.
